chatting leisurely

of their daily routines

This road in the village

devoid of speeding cars

so serene and peaceful

balmy and relaxing

This outskirts village

lacking the prosperity of a city

so simple and innocent

no frets and frowns

Bali, on the way to Mt. Bromo 巴厘岛，去婆罗摩山的路上 

On the way to Mt. Bromo in Java, The driver-cum-guide requested for prayer stop. I consented and was thrilled to have a pleasant rest after a long drive. The scenery around the temple was breathtaking, with green paddy field and simple village. It was here that I saw these women sitting in the middle of the road, disregarding the sparse traffic there. It was an interesting sight that we would never ever have a chance to see in the city.

去婆罗摩山的路上,司机导游要求停下到庙里膜拜。我答应。也乐得下车歇歇脚，看看附近的农村。我就在这里看到城市里肯定看不到的景色，一群农村妇女在稻田工作后坐在马路中央闲聊。她们是多么的悠闲自在，根本不理会路上几乎是零的车辆。我好喜欢！
