Holding Tight

Holding Tight

Holding tight to one another
In the warm balmy breeze
In sweet harmony and light rhythm
Melodious tune flew adrift in this awesome park

Comment : The Sibelius Monument is dedicated to the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius (1865–1957). The monument is located at the Sibelius Park in the district of Toolo in
Helsinki. It was erected in 1967 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the composer's death.  This unique monument consists of series of more than 600 hollow steel pipes welded together in a wave-like pattern, resembling a forest from which the composer got his inspiration for his music. It also resembles organ pipes. Next to the monument is the face of Sibelius in cast of stainless steel. This monument park is indeed a pleasant surprise for me. the surrounding scenery is such a wonderful gift for a city dweller like me.
