The wide and narrow lane
dotted with quadrangle dwellings
where tea-houses are in rows
clustered in the traditional courtyards
Loaded with laughter and bustling noises of leisure
has hidden the tears in the red-window chamber
and the frets and struts of the past
are shielded behind the red silk curtain

Comment : I like this narrow and wide lane. It's beautiful with old buildings rich in unique architecture. But certain parts are overwhelmed with modern cafes and pubs, distracting the life and disregard the welfare of the locals perhaps.
