石壁上的天梯
陡峭的石壁上
白色的梯子朝天
以经幡与神界相连
为往生的亲人传达心声
指望灵魂直上天堂
不受地狱的折磨

The white ladders point to the sky
drawn on the slopes of rocky mountain
The prayer flags linked to heaven
sending blessings for the death
leading them to happiness
eradicating the sufferings of hell

Destination : On the way to Drak Yerpa, Lhasa,
Tibet
Comment : We were disappointed as Drak Yerpa was not accessible due to the repair work of road in progress on the way. Anyhow, the scenery on the way was breathtaking. I was thrilled to see white ladders drawn on rocks. I was told they were the ladders leading the dead to heaven. I was excited to learn this. What a culture! I was pleasantly surprised to see houses built into the grottoes too. They were great!

评语：很可惜，因为修路的关系，我们不能到达扎叶巴寺。幸好一路上风景迷人。我好惊奇当我发现到路边石头上画着白色梯子。原来这是藏民画的天梯，以领导先人直去天堂，免去地狱之苦。我还看到建在石窟内的屋子，好特别。
