我来到清静的码头旁

工人辛劳地搬运货物

生活的重担负在肩上

小码头被斜阳轻照着

两艘木船停泊在一旁

静静地停歇默默等待

每个角落都美丽如梦

I came back from the bridge

strolling leisurely to the wet market

and visiting the gorgeous temples in town

That afternoon in Nyaungshwe

I witnessed how the locals find their livings

They toiled but they did not forget to stop to chat

relaxing their minds and promoting harmony

That afternoon in Nyaungshwe

I quietly came to the little harbour

seeing the labourers carrying goods from boats

with heavy loads on their hardened shoulders

sunshine shone feebly on the small jetty

a pair of row boats moored aside

silently taking a breather while waiting

everything and every corner is a beauty
