让人垂涎欲滴

挤满熙熙攘攘
川流不息的人
头顶着层层的
巨大的竹篮子
穿梭于蔬果中

A morning in Mandalay
I leisurely strolled along
the palace moat-side walkways
savouring the mirror-like waters
duplicating the scenery at the bank

I wandered into the market place
thrilled by the colourful spices
in clusters of coloured hills
pervading a tantalizing fragrance
The Mandalay wet market
with throngs of bustling shoppers
squeezing through the incessant flow
hopping among the vegetable stalls
balancing giant bamboo baskets on their heads

Before leaving Mandalay, I strolled along the palace moat and the wet market. The palace moat was beautiful in the morning, with the locals doing exercise at the walkway. The market though messy and noisy is an interesting spot to behold. I was attracted by the colours of spices sold there. It is beautiful.
