那一瓢水
能解自由之渴
争取公平的欲望
言论的自由
只为人人平等的人权

那一瓢宝贵的水
能解人权之
争取公平的待遇
没有欺压和偏见
拒接剥削与奴隶

那一瓢水
送给辛劳的伟人
争取缩短贫富的距离
不计较肤色
不分种族
制造环境的和睦世界的和平



The Water Is Needed

The water is needed 
to quench the thirst 
for freedom
The freedom to justice
The liberty of speech
as man are born equal

The water is valued
to quench the thirst 
for the rights
The rights to object against
oppression and prejudice
discrimination and slavery

The water is offered
 to appreciate the nobles who fight
for equality between
 the haves and the have-nots
regardless of colour and race
promoting global harmony and peace

Comment : I was captivated by this sculpture outside the Nobel Peace Centre and the City Hall. The quest for water motivated me to relate it to the feats of those Nobel Prize winners, fighting for world peace. I was instantly touched by the thought and the sight!
